Miley Cyrus is the richest teen celebrity in the world, according to People Magazine. The 15-year old star of Disney Channel TV show Hannah Montana earns her money from singing, acting, and spin-offs like a clothing line, merchandise, perfume, and a book deal. It is estimated that Miley Cyrus will be a billionaire by 2009! Despite this her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, lets her spend only $300 a month, the rest going into an investment account which she can finally start spending at age 18.






Miley's parents also got her to agree to a deal where she promises she will live at the 500-acre family farm in Nashville, Tennessee, until she is 20.


Other teen celebrities in the list include the cute Emma Watson who got $4 million for each Harry Potter movie. Emma turned 18 last month and now has access to all the money she earned as Hermoine, estimated at $20 million! Of course her parents insisted that Watson get some education on finances, interest rates, assets, and charity by the Coutts Bank which has her account. The idea being to prevent Emma from blowing away all that money, and keeping it safe for her future.


12-year old Abigail Breslin of Little Miss Sunshine earns $2 million per film but gets to spend only $10 a week. She's better off than 14-year old Dakota Fanning who gets no spending money while her $4 million per movie piles up in the bank!


18-year old Taylor Swift sold more than 3 million copies of her self-titled debut album. "I'd rather put money back into my career than buy a Lamborghini," Swift told People Magazine. Although she did splurge a million dollars on a tour bus, complete with a fake fireplace! Taylor became the first musician to ever receive the Superstar of Tomorrow award at the 10th Annual Young Hollywood Awards.

19-year old teen celebrity Vanessa Hudgens started making serious money when she played Gabriella Montez in High School Musical in January 2006. Vanessa made a cool $2 million that year, in addition to securing a number of major endorsement deals. High School Musical 3 is due for release this year....Vanessa who is also ranked in People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful of 2008, is set to release her music album Identified in June.


It remains to be seen whether these teen celebrities also turn out to be bad role models like Britney or Lindsay. Both Miley and Vanessa have already had scandals by posing for provocative photos. The result of growing up too fast?
