I love the xbox, especially the xbox 360. I have been a fan from the start. Naturally, when I came across an offer on the internet for a free xbox 360 I jumped on it. I was not all that impressed with what I found out however.

once I went to the site for the free xbox, I was asked to fill out a bunch of offers in order to qualify for the free xbox. Of course that means the xbox is not totally free, but I figured, what the heck, I would probability save some money, so I started filling some of the offers out.

There were actually some nice offers from some companies that I new of such as netflix which is a pretty big company that most people know. I filled out a few offers but I basically gave up after filling out a few offers.

Since then I have learned a bunch on internet marketing and affiliate marketing and what I realized is that the free xbox offer is basically just an incentive’s affiliate program. IN other words they are incentive you to fill out affiliate offers.

The way it works is they set up all these programs that can be filled out and if you fill all of them out you will get a free xbox. The trick is they know that a certain percentage of customers are not going to follow through and fill all of the offers out. Also, if some one does fill out all the offers the commissions they get from the affiliate networks for getting you to sign up more than cover the cost of giving away a free xbox and pay for shipping.

I have learned how the free xbox program works and I realize that it can be a easy way to make some cash. The problem with easy cash is when it is there scam artist come in and try to take more of it. What I found was there are several programs that never send out the free xbox.

So you have to be careful and make sure that you work with a reputable company and also make sure that you cancel any reoccurring billing on your credit card. Those are the type offers that you will have to fill out in order to get the so called free xbox.
